Our Mission

To provide comprehensive life skills instruction and support services for youth preparing to live independently.

Company Basics

Corporate Culture

A team of professionals focuses on preparing the next generation of leaders for self-sufficiency. We each bring a unique perspective to the organization through personal experience of transitioning into adulthood.

Delivery

Our program is superior in content totaling over 400 daily living skills topics. The central office location in the City of Lawndale allows crucial flexibility for our trainers to pick up additional materials and service multiple locations in one day.

Quality Control

You-Turn Project Independent Living Skills program was designed with quality assurance in mind. Student achievement is evaluated continuously throughout the program. Instructor effectiveness is evaluated by past students, parents, and their immediate supervisor. Our research department can provide additional information.

Training

All You-Turn Project trainers complete a 40-hour training course.

The training includes company curriculum, You-Turn Project approach to teaching, appropriate boundaries, and being a role model.

in addition all staff members must complete a pre-employment physical exam (including TB & Drug clearances) LiveScan, Department of Justice Background Check

Speedy and Accurate Channels of Communication

You-Turn Project maintains an “open door” policy. All staff members are available via telephone, e-mail and individual conferences.
